I had an underwhelming experience at Charlotte House Hotel during my stay. While I appreciated the historical charm of the building, the cleanliness and maintenance of my room were seriously lacking. The location is great for exploring Lincoln, but with the room in such poor condition, it really overshadowed my visit.

My room was dirty and smelly, with mould on the coffee machine and stains on the furniture. The bed had hair on the pillows, and I couldn't take my shoes off due to the state of the carpet.

I had a pretty decent stay at Charlotte House Hotel. The location is spot on for exploring Lincoln, especially being so close to the castle and cathedral.
